Movie Enthusiasts in excitement with the commencement of screenings at IFFK

 Silver screens are already lit with the magic of world cinemas, at IFFK and the movie-lovers are all in full vigor with the commencement of screenings. Thiruvananthapuram has elevated to a land of dreams and fascinating colors of the festival delegates. Celebrities like Dr. K J Yesudas, Lal Jose ,Ashique Abu , Alagappan and Rima Kallingal have already come to the festival and many more are there to come in the following days.

            Niru from Canada, a regular attendee for many International Film Festivals, is happy about the systematic delegate pass distribution, movie booking facilities, digital displays and green protocol initiative of IFFK. “A lot of chaos and confusion was avoided due to the advanced technologies used here “, she said.

            A group of student delegates from ‘Thunchathezhuthachan Malayalam University‘ is all excited about experiencing their first IFFK. “This kind of festival is really a matter to be cherished“, they opined.  

Shashindran, who has been a delegate in all past IFFKs, is here for his 21^st IFFK. “I am waiting for the completion of  theater complex which would extend the convenience of delegates to a better level in the future festivals” he said.       

IFFK always reiterates the border-less nature of warm friendships and healthy relationships. It is in a way a ground for reunions and rendezvous. The delegate cell in front of the Tagore theater is witnessing the formation and reformation of many friend circles. There is general consciousness among the delegates in observing the green protocol of the fest by avoiding plastic materials.
