Tomorrow’s programs

The sixth day of the international film festival will have a discussion on the “Myth of the low budget film and the spectacular”, organized by GRAffti. Sayeed Misra and ADOOR Gopalakrishnan will deliver the keynote address in the program will be moderated by VR Gopinath.Madhu Ambatt,Resul Pookutty,Lenin Rajendra will participate in the discussion which will be held at Apollo Dimora Hotel  at 11 am.
In the evening  ‘Chavittu Natakam’,  by Ajith Kumar and  troop is to be performed as a part of Vajra Keralam Folk festival.The troop will perform the play ‘Charlemagne the Great’, scripted by Chinnathampi Annavi.
The press meet organized by the Chalachitra Academy will be held at Tagore theatre at 11 am which will be followed by an Open forum on ‘Film criticism; present day, challenges organized by the Federation of Film Soceities of India. Film Critics Vidyarthi chatterjee, Madhu Eravankara, Vijayakrishnan, G.P Ramachandran and Shoma Chatterjee will take part in the meet.
 “In-Conversation with “ will be held at Nila Theater  at 5 pm.The conversation will be between  the celebrated Palestinian film writer, director and producer Michel Kheliefi  with Aruna Vasudev, who has been described as the ‘Mother of Asian Cinema’.
This year’s Aravindan Memorial lecture is set to be delivered by Ethiopian writer, producer and director, Haile Gerima is best known for his internationally acclaimed film ‘Sankofa’ made in 1993.
