The word cinema is nostalgia for malayali viewers and anything attached to the word and the happening world surrounded by it is also a matter of intense emotion. The time when a new release was announced through a mike in a fancy vehicle and the paper notices flown with the wind behind is still vivid in us. To revoke the memory once again IFFK has arranged a visual presentation named Designer’s Attic. The presentation portrays the journey of Malayalam cinema from its nuances to the wider perspective. The show will inaugurate at Tagore theatre on 10th Dec by Veteran actors Sheela and Jagathy Sreekumar. Prominent film activists will appear in the presentation.
The people behind the designing of the presentation are Lijin jose and RaSa. The presentation was created from the material and historical records collected from Manu, Althaf respectively. These two archivists will also be featured alongside the designers.
